His Foot-Fall

Twisted, narrow, skinny road

One direction my heart to hold

A fate unclear, a path unmarked

Under this perception do I embark

Unsightly, rocky, hidden path

Necessary use of a sturdy staff

Unpredicted findings, undiscovered ways

Yet boldly I venture within the haze

Tiny, blurry, far-lost print

A hope amidst confused torment

Now strengthened traveler, new lighted eye

If the choice is Guidance, I will not go awry
